We visit you

Thanks to grants from Leader Lundaland, we have the opportunity to offer all schools in the region of Lundaland (Lund, södra Eslöv, Staffanstorp, Kävlinge, Lomma), one visit/school free of charge. Make sure to book before our schedule is full!

We offer two alternatives for school visits: “Introduction presentation for teachers” or “Follow-up on the Time Detective”.

Alternative 1. Spring/autumn: Introduction presentation of Uppåkra for teachers

We visit your classroom, and hold a presentation about the prehistoric Uppåkra. This is also an opportunity to discuss how we might be of help to your teaching.

Alternative 1. Autumn: Introduction presentation of Uppåkra for students

We visit your classroom, and hold a presentation about the prehistoric Uppåkra. The lecture includes moments such as the viewing of an Iron Ahe longhouse in 3D and viewing finds (mostly bone material).

Alternativ 2. Autumn: Follow-up meeting for students

We offer a follow-up meeting for classes that have visited, or will visit Uppåkra, regarding the program “Time Detective”. We discuss the exercise and delve deeper into the archaeological interpretation process. The meeting will give us a possibility to answer and discuss the students’ questions.
